Parameters:
Common name: Ivermectin
Mode of action: Ivermectin acts on insects by potentiation of GABA-ergic neural and neuromuscular transmission but since mammals have only central GABA-ergic synapses which are to a large extent protected by the blood-rain barrier they are relatively resistant to ivermectin.
Targets: nematodes, arachnids and insects.
Main crop: vegetable, tea and rice.
Applied doses: 0.2-0.3g/ha (active ingredient)
Main customer benefits:
Widely used. Ivermectin is widely used to control lepidoptera in vegetable and rice.
Super efficacy. Ivermectin have higher activity than abamectin and emamectin benzoate, only 0.2-0.3 g/ha(a.i.)
Provides long-lasting protection.
More safety and lower toxicity compared with the abamectin and emamectin.
Environment friendly: more easy to breakdown in soil and safety to the natural enemy. |
